Morning meese…Going to be a day of tweets with my wonderfully antagonistic commentary mixed in…

I am pretty much sick of Trump and his antics with his deplorable assholes…This got me feeling very angry….

This ought to play well with everyone…I would think even his asshole voters would be outraged about this but not sure they’ll care because they are too damn stupid to know what it means.

Yes by all means…Ignore us…The 65 million people that voted for Hillary.

I am bewildered everyday when reading the news how gov’t officials can be so fucking stupid then remember they are Republicans…

    I think the jsfv is finally entering the Ralph Nader zone in public opinion (divisive, only out for himself, tearing the Democratic party down). He and those stupid enough to hang on to him are going to be sidelined and discredited. That’s my prediction and I’m sticking with it! :)

    • I saw some theories on Twitter that Tom Perez was giving Sanders the opportunity to demonstrate to everyone just how awful he is. Perez alone will never convince people that Sanders is a danger to the party – it has to be plain to everyone. We are getting there. I see a lot more people willing to tell Sanders to just STHU.

      If the unrelenting berners are 10% of the party (I think it is a smaller number), we just need to focus more on GOTV to get the rest of the party to vote in every election. We were only 70,000 voters shy of electoral victory in 2016.

  4. {{{Batch}}} – thanks for the post and yes, we need to get teh pseudo-progressives out of the driver’s seat. They’ll do, are trying to do, to the Dem party what the Freedom Caucus aka Teabaggers have done to the R party. jsfv is their Messiah of the moment – get rid of him and they’ll find another. But it will take time for them to find a new messiah of the moment and we can regroup and get to work while they do it. (Why QE1 reluctantly axed Mary, Queen of Scots – MQoS was the focal point of rebellion against QE1. Once the figurehead was gone, the rebels backed off for a while and let QE1 get some work done.) So, since I’m not on Twitter, I trust my allies and compatriots – you Twitter Warriors – to do that part of The Resistance for me while I do other stuff.

  5. Thanks Batch for the great diary…lots of good tweets to investigate…there is a diary up on DK about how all this anti-Bernie stuff are attempts to divide the party and now is not the time to iron out our differences…we are just suppose to shut up and go with the flow…no not this time…

  7. Hi guys, those of you on Twitter who want some fun can go and troll Kos who is starting to see the light. It seems like maybe his berniness is getting to a tipping point I know it wasn’t the only thing, but I blame him for trump.

    • I unfollowed Kos ages ago, but it may be time to start following again. I’ve seen some of his comments RTd, and they sound like the Kos of old. I wonder what’s up with that? Maybe because a) there’s not a woman candidate running for president; and b) the good PR from raising money for Osoff through DK has put him in a different frame of mind?

      • Meanwhile those who set out to destroy the Village on DK are blaming the Village right now for DK being so “anti-Bernie”. By name. I’m not kidding.

        • Are they singling out the Village or individuals? I’ve seen ongoing slurs tossed at the Village for months now, but for the most part, people ignore it. I think a lot of people see references to the Village and have no idea what they’re talking about!

          I’m past caring on DK; I read some of TomP and SpanishEquality’s comments today, and my reaction was a big yawn. They’ve become caricatures at this point, which I find so sad. I used to enjoy TomPs viewpoint in Black Kos, but now I can’t even take him seriously.

          • In particular a poster with a name similar to Gallifreyan Yeti (j/k) called out “the Village” by name in the “sh#t the bed” diary on the rec list today, indicating that we somehow caused the “kerfluffle” of DK withdrawing an endorsement of Heath Mello for mayor of Omaha???

            There was an endorsement, it was withdrawn, there has been some misrepresentation of Mello’s record on “mandatory ultrasounds”, but the withdrawal was engineered by us…. Cuz High Uintas and melaka commented in some thread or other somewhere, (they were not the only commenters, and far from the most vociferous; the others I did not recognize) but “we” engineered the endorsement being withdrawn because we’re so embedded with the DK administration…

            And when you catch your breath from laughing, would you like to buy some ocean front property I happen to have in Montana?

          • And what’s even more funny to me about that is – I’ve had Mello on my Eyes on the Prize list since Chris mentioned him weeks back – and still do.

    • I think he got played. Folks in Bernie camp knew he didn’t like Hillary and they found sympathetic admin/mods to help them try and take over DK. Plus assist from all the propaganda (if I never ever hear the words “dank meme stash” again it won’t be too soon).

  9. Hey all you Pond Dwellers. Late to the party, as usual. I had to do my #DearTom tweet before heading over. I see the berner finally endorsed Jon Ossoff. I imagine he either had an epiphany or, more likely, somebody told him he was looking like a jackass endorsing the DINO from Omaha and not Jon. I say it’s too little, too late.

    72 right now with a projected high of 77. Better get the afternoon walk done.
