I do not believe this man’s actions are normal.
I do not believe he is emotionally stable.
I do not believe he cares about the full, beautiful diversity of America.
I do not believe he respects women.
I do not believe he is pro-life other than his own.
I do not believe the sick and the poor and the hurting matter to him in the slightest.
I do not believe he is a man of faith or integrity or nobility.
I do not believe his concern is for anything outside his reflection in the mirror.I believe he is a danger to our children.
I believe he is a threat to our safety.
I believe he is careless with our people.
I believe he is reckless with his power.
I believe America will be less secure, less diverse, less compassionate, and less decent under his leadership.
Bitch McConnell is dirt. He’s less than dirt. He owns this, the POS.

And this…McConnell is truly a sick piece of work. He must go!

Health care has always been about something bigger than politics: it's about the character of our country. https://t.co/UqLO14Hef7

This your Friday open thread…Fire away friends!
Good morning, Meese and thanks for the thread, Batch. Usually John gives me hope; soothes me. This morning? Too much sh*t going on this week, I guess. I hate to post and run, but it’s only 70 right now, so going to hit the trail. It’s cooling down with a high of just 100 expected today.
Happy TGIF!
{{{Batch}}} – thanks for the diary – and that list unfortunately is true of every single em-effen R in Congress as well as at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. and No. 1 Observatory Circle. And yeah, don’t blame me. I voted for Her. And am still with her.
Back when i can. moar {{{HUGS}}}
Morning meese…Late start this morning…What happens when you retire I suppose……Be back later!
Morning, Meese! I’m feeling a bit under the weather, so I probably won’t be around much today. I went to bed the minute I got home from work yesterday and only got up two hours later as my husband was leaving for work. I didn’t want to, but the pups would have been up at 4am if I’d brought them to bed at 9pm.
The attacks on Nancy Pelosi continue, and my ire grows with each one. The know-nothings on the Left seem to assume that these attacks by Republicans only started with the Ossoff campaign. Um, no, she’s been demonized by Rs for as long as she has been part of the leadership. For lefties to embrace right wing talking points (again) irks me to no end. Oh, and conveniently overlooking the attacks made on Bernie in the same ads? What’s that about? I think we all know what’s really going on here…
Sher…Go to the doctor…Might be nothing but it’s worth nipping it in the bud if it is something…Sending energy your way…..
About your ire…This thread lays it out rather nicely concerning Fuckin Bernie.
{{{DoReMI}}} The Extreme Left has been trying to get rid of Pelosi for not being “progressive enough” since she refused to waste time and tax dollars on impeaching W – a decision I was totally behind. From optics (it would have looked like payback for impeaching Bill) to time (she didn’t know how much she’d have and she wanted to push as much progressive legislation through as possible) to money (the Clinton impeachment wasted billions of dollars and quite a number of small but very valuable to the real working class programs were cut to fund it) – impeaching W without being able to remove him from office would have been a bad idea – and quite possibly would have cost us the House in the 2008 election. In fact, it might have cost us the presidency too considering the number of Rs who’d have been at the polls to get rid of the ebil Dems who impeached their president. So. Woman. Pragmatic Progressive. Efficient. Of course the Extreme Left is parroting the Extreme Right’s talking points – they have a common ‘enemy’.
Thanks Batch for the diary…those pictures of kids in wheel chairs break my heart…what kind of nation have we become to be able to do something like this?…and yes DoReMI the attacks on Pelosi piss me off big time…we should get rid of her because of Republican optics?…just stinks of agism and sexism…
This pisses me off…IMHO we the American people should have been given this info last year to decide for ourselves if it made a difference on which way to vote, not keep it from us. While admitting it was sensitive material it has cast us into a nightmare which might have been avoidable had we had the information.
Batch – it may have been an issue of not letting the Russians know what we knew before we were ready to counter them.
Not a good enough excuse fitz…Letting them know we knew might have made them back off for one and since it affected how we might vote then there isn’t any excuse that will square the circle.
It also may have been an issue of not letting the Russians know how we knew it. And as far as effecting the vote, yes the Russians put out a lot of lies (much of which the bros ran with and are still running with) – but without the media making those lies 24/7 headline news it wouldn’t have mattered. And even if President Obama had blown the gaff on whoever and however we got the information unless the media pushed that meme it wouldn’t have made any difference.
Hi dear Meeses! Thank you Batch. I agree with everything in your post. I spent too much of yesterday retweeting pictures of folks in and out of wheelchairs being arrested outside McConnell’s office. Utterly soulless.
The Bros and other purists agitating against Nancy are the enemy within.
{{{momentarygrace}}} – yes, yes, and I heartily endorse the tweet!
