Morning meese…Been quite the week, with Trump and his cabal of criminals acting like they haven’t done anything wrong to Bernie still playing his worthless games.

It seems Robert Mueller and his team have their work cut out for them as it’s looking more and more like the entire Republican Party is in cahoots with the Russians.

    • I won’t waste my energy on hate, but let’s say if there was a way to round them all up and put them on a desert island I’d definitely vote for that. And yes, the 30-year smear – that’s still going on – is precisely why we are in the gawdawful situation we’re in.

  2. {{{Batch}}} – thanks for the TGIF – and as depressed as it makes me personally about Hillary not being in the White House, and it makes me very depressed when I stop working against the Evil long enough to think about it – it really upsets me thinking of those women over 100, some of whom were just hanging on for the election, who lost their last chance to see a woman – an intelligent, competent, qualified woman – inaugurated as president. All due to the insistence of white male assholes on keeping their privilege. (and yes, I’m including a certain junior senator from VT and his followers.)

    There’s a wave of Depression passing through – everybody seems to be feeling it today. But as a kid I learned to jump the waves at Galveston. i just need to remember the lessions I learned back then. The wave will pass and i will remain. Channeling Golden Light Energy to all – to be fashioned to suit the needs it meets. moar {{{HUGS}}}

    • Morning, bfitz. {{{HIGS}}}. I think the depression wave is caused by the unpatriotic responses to all this bullshit by the republicans in office. If they denounced this, we’d feel validated, if you will. Not that we need that, but it might loosen the anchor a bit. You know, I know, we all know we’ve got this…but the load feels awfully heavy at times.

      • Yes, yes, and yes! This is TRUTH!!! I look around at the people defending the Russia “story” (including those in my own family…and especially including the ones who are retired military), and it drags me down. I can’t even communicate with some of them anymore, because their willingness to choose partisan politics over our Constitution both angers and demoralizes me.

        But bfitz has given me a useful visual to remember; I grew up on the shores of Lake Erie, and while I’m sure our waves didn’t amount to much compared to Galveston, I too learned to jump them. That’s an uplifting memory and a handy visual.

        • {{{DoReMI}}} – we need those visuals, those images that tell our inner scared little kid that it’s OK, we can handle this. (And Galveston doesn’t have a lot of surf, Lake Erie probably had waves almost as big. lol)

      • {{{WYgalinCali}}} – that’s it partly for sure. I think most of it is that, as with a war, this is so big and so deadly but there is so little we personally can do about it. This is where we need all the team building and morale building images, analogies – even propaganda that we know is propaganda – to give us heart and keep us going.

  3. Good morning, Pond Dwellers and welcome to another edition of TGIF. Thanks for posting, Batch. We’ve lost our Monday and Thursday posters, so nice to finish the week on a good note. I posted in ????about the 5th person at little donnie’s meeting and, guess what? Word is there was a 6th person. I wonder if that’s coming out because they figure the Russian attorney will testify and reveal? Is Putin getting tired of all this? Will he drop the oppo soon? I’d love to see that. Wow. But, it’s a nothing burger, right? What else can they say? I’d go for some truthful tidbits but we will carry on.

    97 for a high today but 65 right now. But our humidity drops into the teens with our heat. Sorry for your sauna. Now for coffee, breakfast and elliptical. My fun filled day begins.

    The news folks are in their glory with all the russia crap, but they could have prevented it if they had behaved responsibly during the campaign. I don’t forgive them.
