Morning Meese…
Another week of the fast and furious news cycle we seem to be caught in lately. Funny how becasue of Thing and his minions all the deplorables are coming out of the woodwork left and right. From adulterers to rapists to child molesters to outright criminals all being outed as what and who they are…Deplorable assholes.
Seems fitting that most if not all are Conservatives and getting what is coming to them. The morons speaking for them like this asshole are beyond anything I can make sense of…

The evangelical non christian right are showing their true colors in amazing and truly frightening ways and these are the people that want us to bow down to their way of thinking…Sorry, assholes, it ain’t happening, ever.
Maybe this is something that is good in all this mess…The worthless bastards are getting outed and we can bury them and be done with it. Not what anyone wanted to go through but it didn’t seem like it was going to happen until Trump. So thank you Thing for driving the deplorable people out of the woodwork out in to the light so we can get rid of them, including yourself.
I don’t think I would be saying this before Tuesday and our glorious trouncing that we administered on the Republicans and no Bernie, you didn’t have anything to do with it.
All of what happened Tuesday and with all of the deplorables looking at public shaming for their actions I’m looking at 2018 as a banner year for us. I can see the House and the Senate turning blue and putting a stop to any further damage and allowing us to retake the WH in 2020 and start to fix what the Republicans have fucked up once again.
I honestly did not think that any “conservatives” would stoop so low as to defend a pedophile. Wrong. There is no limit to how far they will go to win elections, no line they will not cross, no norms they will not transgress. There is a sickness in the land.

Starting to think GOP stands for Groping Old Pervs.

Via @daveweigel, a startling expose of the Sanders plan to co-opt the Democratic Party nomination process. Folks, it's time to mobilize. Wrapped in velvet glove, this is cold-blooded voter suppression plan worthy of Scott Walker. pic.twitter.com/ujNt0Gkbia

Republicans – let me get this straight – you think it’s wrong for two adults of the same sex to get married but it’s OK for a child molester to become a Senator?

LMAO…This funny at the expense S. Miller …Thread!
My notifications about Stephen Miller’s interview with Mueller are blowing up faster than one of his “girlfriends” on a “date night”.
As a result, I’ve decided to compile a few of my Stephen Miller jokes into a thread. Enjoy!

That’s it for this Friday
Fire away!
Hi, Batch, thanks for the Village post!
Yes, I agree that it’s great that the scumbags are being outed. It’s high time that we as a society stop accepting that rape and sexual harassment are just something that “happens” and are best not mentioned.
Cold and beautiful this morning…hope you and everyone else will have a good day!
Hey, Diana. Nice to see you. Just off to make coffee.
I seriously give Hillary a vast amount of credit for the scumbags being outed. Women are saying feeling empowered, precisely because they’ve seen how she was treated. We see it; we recognize it; we’ve experienced it. And now we’re saying, “No more.”
Good morning, Pond Dwellers, and thanks for the Friday thread, Batch. I can’t believe I’m up this early. I wanted to make sure broths published my diary (only to find out bigjack…did. (The name is way too long for me to write.) unfortunately, he did it at 4:00 PST so somebody posted before the links posted. Oh, well. That’s happened before.
55 and cloudy. Got a little rain yesterday. High of 64. I really need coffee.
Morning Meese…The right are folding themselves into pretzels and making fools of themselves trying to deal with an obvious pedophile while the Slanders supporters seem to think Tuesday was their come to jesus moment and now they own the Dem party…
Good afternoon, Meese! I thought today was going to be a slow one at work. I swear I jinx myself…everytime I think that, I end up getting slammed.
Did anyone else receive the letter in the mail from Jen O’Connell, the new CEO of the DNC? Of course they were asking for me to start giving again, but she also included a very detailed breakdown about what’s happening at the DNC these days in terms of mission and future plans. This wasn’t anything about the Unity Reform Commission; this was more about upgrades, updates, new folks hired, and plans for the future. It was VERY encouraging, and it brought me one step closer to opening my wallet again. As I tweeted last night:
If it’s not been widely read, I may end up doing a post about it.
{{{Batch}}} – If we can grab some more special elections, get a few more state houses under our belts, and have a few more Courts ordering redrawing gerrymandered districts then Blue Wave for sure. I’m not going to count on it though – stay angry, channel the anger – just like we did for the 2017 elections (and please, please, please the AL special election next month) and we’ll take back the house and maybe squeak the Senate. But will still be enough to block a lot of the Ebil coming from mad king donald and his Deplorable administration – and put us in place to restore the Voting Rights Act and make the 2020 elections honest. So a squeaker in 2018 can lead to Blue Wave in 2020 – IF we stay angry and focused.
Bless you folks for that lovely tribute. It really helped lift my spirits which seriously needed it. moar {{{HUGS}}}
Waves Hi! You earned every one of those tributes. Still you miss you at Daily Kos.
{{{mvgal92691}}} – thank you. I do my best to be that kind of person – Momma used to laugh that I was “bucking for sainthood” – and then remind me not to get sanctimonious with it. I miss you, too. It’s getting harder and harder to go over there. Hurts to see but not be a part – but as long as folks are working to get me back, I will keep going. moar {{{HUGS}}}
Thanks for the TGIF post, Batch. :)
Just got a call a bit ago – V was going to be leaving work early so we could go up to the hospital and get home before nightfall. However, surprise! The car broke! Something called a “serpentine belt”??? She’s at the repair place. Hope that’s all that is wrong and that they can get it done quickly.
Never rains but it pours.
BTW bfitz, hope you check back on the Village post at DK later in the day. MOAR {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}
{{{MomentaryGrace}}} – holding the Good Thought on your car and sending Healing Energy to your household. i will indeed check back at DK – but it will be late as I need to see about getting new glasses. I never know what looks good on me so I’m taking a friend (or she’s taking me – I can’t drive after dark) to help choose the frames. Mine are ultra-lite progressive (isn’t that a great term? LOL) lineless trifocals with UV protection so basically I won’t actually get them tonight, just choose the frames and get the process started. But my friend isn’t available tomorrow so tonight is it. moar {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
New glasses can be fun! I always have to get both regular (bifocals) and tinted dark for outside. Last time I got new ones I made a good choice on the regular ones – thin, metal rims with a red tint – and poor choice on the shades – plastic frames with kind of a white/black/gray almost leopard spot pattern – nice looking but the lenses are too big. Why? Because in the summer in Houston, they cover too much of my cheek and I sweat under them!!! LOL!!! How ridiculous is that? :D I have learned that for shades, smaller is better so the air can get under them. Who knew? ;P
Heard from V, it wasn’t just the belt but also a tension thingy, which is why the belt broke. Moar money but it’s an older car. We’re lucky it isn’t worse, and that it happened as she was leaving work, and not in the middle of the 610 West Loop. -_-;;
Good luck with your ultra-lite progressives! :)
(Definitely sounds like somewhat superficial lefties! ;D)
