Welcome to The Moose Pond! The Welcomings posts give the Moose, old and new, a place to visit and share words about the weather, life, the world at large and the small parts of Moosylvania that we each inhabit.
Welcomings will be posted at the start of each week (every Sunday morning). To find the posts, just bookmark this link and Voila! (which is Moose for “I found everyone!!”).
The format is simple: each day, the first moose to arrive on-line will post a comment welcoming the new day and complaining (or bragging!) about their weather. Or mentioning an interesting or thought provoking news item. Or simply checking in.
So … what’s going on in your part of Moosylvania?
…
NOTE: The comments page will now split off after 20 or so left margin comments with the most recent comments on the current page. To see the older comments, scroll to the bottom of the page and use the link.

45 and sort of sunny – as in where the sun peeks through clouds and leaves it’s bright but otherwise we’re overcast. We got 7.9 KWHs yesterday and the m-t-d is 11. 3 – not quite on track for 180 but close. I am looking forward to turning the clocks back ???? but I’m not sure I can convince the cats to let me sleep the extra hour. Clocks are not their thing – full food bowls are. (Although they don’t like the new & better for them food I’m trying to convince them to eat so the bowls are never actually empty.) I’m staffing Dem HQ today and tomorrow but other than that I’m not paying attention to the election (or much of any other) news until Tuesday night. Or maybe Wednesday morning. I’ve been having enough trouble with my tummy. I don’t need help. Hope everyone has a good Saturday with whatever they’ve got going & Healing Energy to everybody shaped to the need. Bright the day, Meeses. {{{HUGS}}}
Good morning, 52 and cloudy in Bellingham. Falling leaves, light rain, a cloudy sky, and another day of staying calm and laying low. This tRump induced TMJ episode is easing, but it’s not over yet. No yawning allowed, ouch!
Time for coffee. Take care everyone.
